Processing on your device

PDF processing takes place in your browser without an upload or account.

Multiple areas and pages

Add black rectangles on different pages. Undo, remove, or clear areas before export.

New image-only PDF

Every page is rendered as an image and selected pixels are blackened. Original text, metadata, and attachments are discarded.

Frequently asked questions

Does a black rectangle only hide the original text?

The exported PDF contains newly rendered images with the selected pixels blackened. Original text objects are not included. Check that every sensitive area is fully covered.

Can I search or copy text in the downloaded PDF?

No. All pages become images, including pages without marked areas. Text search and selection, forms, links, and digital signatures are lost.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Processing stays in your browser. No account is required and the original file is not changed.

Can the tool automatically find sensitive words?

No. You manually mark rectangles with a mouse, touch, or percentage fields. Review every page for sensitive information.

What are the limits and what should I check?

PDFs are limited to 50 MB and 100 pages. Password-protected or resource-intensive files may be rejected. Save the original, review all marked areas, and inspect the downloaded PDF before sharing.
